RPTS Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, leadership and other criteria indicated for each. Numbers of scholarships awarded each year will vary depending on endowment fund return, but generally range between $500-$1250 annually. External scholarships listing and criteria vary and students are encouraged to review periodically for updates.

Royce Wisenbaker, Jr. Scholarship
RPTS Major currently enrolled: U2+ status in year scholarship to be used. 2.8 GPA in major; 2.5 overall; 12 hrs/semester; not over 3 from another school.
COADC – Jana Wisenbaker Scholarship
RPTS Major currently enrolled: U2+ status in year scholarship to be used; overall GPR at least 2.5, registered for at least 12 SCH.
Gene Phillips Memorial Scholarship
RPTS Major Currently enrolled: U2+ status in year scholarship to be used, 2.8 GPA overall; 12 hrs/semester; not over 3 from another school.
Clara Wuest Heidemann Scholarship
RPTS Major currently enrolled: U3+ status in year scholarship to be used, overall GPR at least 2.5, registered for at least 12 SCH.
Lon & Inger Garrison Scholarship
RPTS Major Currently enrolled: U3+ status in year scholarship to be used, 2.5 GPA overall; 12 hrs/semester; not over 3 from another school.
Kevin Piskura Memorial Scholarship
RPTS Major currently enrolled: U4 status, minimum GPA of 2.0.
COADC – Joyce Nies & Peter Witt Scholarship
RPTS Major currently enrolled: U2+ status in year scholarship to be used, overall GPR at least 2.5, registered for at least 12 SCH.

RENR400 – Study Abroad in Natural Resources Scholarship (Australia, Fiji & New Zealand)
RPTS students enrolled in any one of the Department’s study abroad programs to Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand will be eligible to receive a $500 scholarship from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
External Funding Scholarships Sources
The National Association for Interpretation is offering a $700 Freeman Tilden Scholarship plus funding to attend their Region 6 workshop (Feb 28-Mar 3, 2011 in Eureka Springs, AR). Applicants will be judged on work experience in the field of interpretation, academic achievement and written communication skills. Deadline for applications in Oct. 29, 2010.
