New Technology Requirements

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences undergraduate students

In addition to the minimum specifications for the college, for some majors/programs within the college, there are more specific requirements.

General minimum requirements for students in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences:

  • Desktop or Laptop with the following minimum requirements:
    • Intel i5 8th Generation processor or equivalent
    • 8 GB of RAM
    • 256 GB storage system
    • Wifi capable
    • 13 Inch screen size
    • Discrete graphics card
    • Integrated Webcam
  • Smartphone (for use in proctored testing for online courses) with the following minimum requirements:
    • Camera
    • Suitable data plan to support video streaming

As an alternative to the Smartphone, students may use a USB-based web camera with tripod or stand, capable of being used in similar fashion to the Smartphone for use in proctored testing associated with online courses.
