*RCRA: Resort and Commercial Recreation Association

  • November 10-13, 2018 (Panama City Beach, FL)
  • Emerging Professional Membership (includes students) $50
  • Student conference cost is about $200 (lower cost if more students attend from one university); attendees must stay at the host resort or pay an additional fee
  • Register by Sept. 30 for lowest rate

 IAAPA:  International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions

  • November 12-16, 2018
  • Normally a few “apprenticeships” are offered by IAAPA for the annual expo to assist organizers; very intensive short-term experience with numerous networking opportunities (application deadline May 1)
